Port St. Lucie Police arrested and charged a woman with driving under the influence after seeing her driving with four flat tires.
According to the report, the arresting officer saw a woman at the wheel of a 2012 Honda driving down NW Bayshore Boulevard. The car was going 5-10 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone and had a long line of cars behind it. The police officer pulled over the driver who had a child in a car seat in the back.
The officer asked the driver, identified as 39-year-old So Young Pak, if she knew what happened to her car. Pak, according to the report, said nothing was wrong. The officer told her she had four flat tires. Pak denied it and said her car was fine. The officer smelled alcohol on her breath and asked her to take a field sobriety test.
Police arrested Pak for suspicion of DUI. She's facing a charge of child neglect for having a child in the car. The officer also cited Pak for unsafe equipment.
